Museum of Philistine Culture
מוזיאון לתרבות הפלישתים

About
All the information about the Museum of Philistine Culture: the fixed and central exhibition at the Museum of Philistine Culture takes visitors on a route that reflects the story of the Philistines, who were forced to abandon their land—through the journey they underwent following it, until their integration into society. This is the only museum in the world that presents Philistine culture. The exhibition combines archaeological finds with digital simulations. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the Museum of Philistine Culture also presents other, rotating exhibitions—most of which deal with visual arts. It is possible to combine your visit with guided instruction and special activity for groups called "The Philistine Feast," based on the ancient biblical kitchen. On July 19, 2020, a new group exhibition opens at the museum—"An Object in Transit," which will be displayed at the museum for about a year. The exhibition deals with memories, longing, and the homey feeling that objects in transit create for each of us, and invites visitors to set out on a journey in space, time, family history, and the biography of materials.
