Museum of Philistine Culture

This is the only museum in the world that presents Philistine culture. The exhibition combines archaeological finds with digital simulations. In addition to the permanent exhibition, the Museum of Philistine Culture also presents other, rotating exhibitions—most of which deal with visual arts. It is possible to combine your visit with guided instruction and special activity for groups called "The Philistine Feast," based on the ancient biblical kitchen. On July 19, 2020, a new group exhibition opens at the museum—"An Object in Transit," which will be displayed at the museum for about a year. The exhibition deals with memories, longing, and the homey feeling that objects in transit create for each of us, and invites visitors to set out on a journey in space, time, family history, and the biography of materials.
