All the information about the Japanese Garden in Holon. In the center of Holon, there is a small garden, two dunams in size, teaching something about Japanese gardening. The garden is not large, but provides a delightful spot to relax. In the garden there is a small waterfall that continues into small streamlets running between pergolas, seating corners, and unique vegetation. In the garden you can also find a cherry tree that blossoms every year. The vegetation hides the busy road from visitors. In its center there is a pagoda house; access to it is via bridges, and it is surrounded by water on all sides. Especially uplifting is the water tap operated by pressing with your foot, which is well hidden in a kind of stone trough. The garden was designed by Chaim Cahanovitz, inspired by Japanese gardens, at the request of the Holon municipality, which wanted to go beyond the usual routine of landscaping with lawns and trees. Many visitors come to the garden, which is open all year round (all hours of the day) and serves as a preferred site for couple/wedding photography (bride and groom).

All the information about the National Park of Ramat Gan. The National Park of Ramat Gan is surrounded by a huge lake. The flower garden in the park spans an area of 12 dunams and contains about 82,000 flowers in a variety of colors and types. This is in addition to trees, paths, and wide lawns in the style of Europe's classic gardens. The park includes a[n] amphitheater area with fitness facilities, a services building, inspection buildings, a Star of David and Magen David Adom facility, a large children's play area, lawns, a rose garden, a promenade, a lake, and special fountains lit at night. The National Park also contains the largest collection of sculptures by the well-known sculptor Menashe Kadishman, may he rest in peace. Works by Kadishman are scattered throughout the park in two areas: the Positive Trees Complex, and Kadishman's "Garden of Sculptures" complex, which is a source of attraction for thousands of visitors. In the area of the park there are several species of birds, including domesticated ruddy shelducks, a gray crow, an Indian myna—an actual bird from the starling family—brown kingfisher, night heron, and more. To the north of the lake, two small artificial islands are located, serving as a place of refuge for water birds. On the north-west side of the lake there is a café. Near the café there is an artificial waterfall 5 m high, along with lower waterfalls. This waterfall, as well as the tall fountains located in the lake, is intended to help enrich the lake's water with oxygen and maintain water quality that allows fish to live. There is a pine grove in the park, and in it a variety of seasonal wildflowers bloom, especially common species such as crowned chrysanthemum and poppy agasi. In the date grove, on many tree trunks, ficuses have sprouted—mainly sacred fig—which is a result of seed dispersal by bats. Park services and facilities. In the park there is an amphitheater complex with fitness facilities, a services building, service/inspection buildings, a Magen David Adom facility, and a large children's play facility. The flower garden: The flower garden is relatively small in its area, but presents a remarkable variety of seasonal flowers and two shaded pergolas adorned with foliage. All the information about Yavne Sea Beach. Yavne Sea, which is located south of Palmachim Beach, is something like a peninsula that extends into the sea waters. It is one of the places where you can enjoy being alone with the sea and the waves, with calm far from the bustling crowds. Walking along the peninsula to the water allows you to descend to the shoreline, which is located on the western part of the mound (tel). A small path leads there; the sea waves crash against the rocks, foaming as they surge. Compared to the nearby and busy Palmachim Beach, here it is the kingdom of quiet. There was a settlement here already in the Chalcolithic period; Yavne Sea was an important Canaanite port city. At a certain period it was even under the rule of the Kingdom of Judah. History tells that Yehudah HaMaccabi burned the site due to suspicion that the Gentiles wanted to murder the Jews. Among the restorers was Yochanan Hyrkanos. An archaeological site that is still being excavated and studied. Along the walk on this golden stretch of coastline, you can enjoy the beautiful coastal vegetation and gaze from the mound at the breathtaking beach. When to come: At any time, and especially toward sunset—so it's a good idea to bring coffee and capture the moment in your camera. On winter days, the wave view from here is amazing. Note: Entry to the beach involves a fee (in summer for a private vehicle: 30 NIS; in winter for a private vehicle: 10 NIS). Swimming is active during the months of April–October, while the southern part of the coastline (Yavne Sea) is not guarded, and swimming is the sole responsibility of the swimmers!

All the information about the Alexandroni Memorial. On the top of a hill in the Kula forest stands the Alexandroni memorial in memory of the fighters of the Alexandroni Brigade, who fell in the War of Independence in the battles of "Kula." In the War of Liberation, the village of Kula served as part of the outpost system of the Jordanian Legion. During Operation Dani, it was decided to capture the area, and the 89th Battalion of the Alexandroni Brigade was assigned the mission; in the end it succeeded in capturing the village and the hills that dominate the area on July 10, 1948. In the following days, several battles took place between IDF forces and the Jordanian Legion forces, during which the village was taken by the Legion and, in a counterattack, was recaptured by the IDF. During the battles, 32 fighters fell: 28 of them from the 32nd Battalion (in whose name the Kakh (כ"ח) memorial is named) and four from the 33rd Battalion. Alexandroni Memorial | Photo: Eitan Kage From the memorial there is a beautiful view of the hills of Samaria. Ramat Gan, Holon and the cities near Tel Aviv offer several child-friendly activities: safari, interactive museums, parks and leisure centers.
It is a good area for a lighter day, especially if you want to avoid the most tourist-heavy sites while staying close to Tel Aviv.
Beaches and local life
Bat Yam, Herzliya and nearby coastal towns offer beaches with a more local feel than central Tel Aviv. Some are practical for families, walks and sunset.
Shopping centers, markets and neighborhood restaurants also show a more everyday side of Israel, useful for longer stays.
Planning from Tel Aviv
Gush Dan is easy to visit from Tel Aviv. If you want several stops in one day, a car or driver makes logistics much easier.
Distances are short, but traffic can be heavy. Group activities by area and avoid peak commuting times when possible.
Practical tips for exploring Gush Dan
Getting around : A car is the most convenient way to explore Gush Dan, as the various towns are linked by a dense motorway network. The train connects Tel Aviv to Petah Tikva and Bnei Brak, and Rav-Kav buses run frequently. Elynor Tours offers car rental from Ben Gurion Airport with immediate pickup.
Budget : Gush Dan is generally cheaper than Tel Aviv. Local restaurants offer full meals for 40-80 NIS. The Ramat Gan Safari costs 89 NIS per adult and 69 NIS per child (free under 3). Malls such as Ayalon Mall and Azrieli have prices similar to Tel Aviv.
How long to stay : Half a day is enough for a single attraction such as the Safari. To explore several towns, plan a full day. Gush Dan combines perfectly with a Tel Aviv base, as a day trip.
