The Botanical Garden located on the grounds of the 'Mikveh Israel' school was planned by Professor Otto Warburg and planted in 1930 for the purpose of researching botany and agriculture in the Land of Israel. In the garden, which covers about 50 dunams, about 1,200 species are planted according to botanical divisions, and it is very impressive to visit. The garden serves as a major study point for students of agriculture and horticulture in the country, and it is used as a place of work and training for learners.
