The Terminal Park is not a closed amusement-park complex, but an open leisure area intended for both city residents and visitors. The park includes an amphitheater park for events and performances, a promenade running along the historical runway, a plane garden, ecological pools, seating areas, and a dedicated children's waterfall area. Throughout the year, family activities and open events for the public are held on site, mainly in the afternoon and evening hours. Alongside the free activities, the park also operates a number of paid attractions, including a bumper-car area and an extreme area that includes riding in quad bikes and powered vehicles, intended for children aged 4 and up. This is an initial offering, with additional attractions expected to open in the next stages of the park's development. In the food area as well, the park is starting to take shape. Today, four food trucks operate there: one meat-based with dishes such as hamburgers, brioche filled with asado, and tacos with pulled meat; a dairy food truck with pizzas, pastas, and pastries; a stand for hot corn; and a sweets food truck offering crepes, Belgian waffles, and additional desserts. It's important to note that the Terminal Park is still in the process of development. Future plans include virtual-reality areas, a large food market, a sports park, a picnic grove, a broad events venue, and even a home/venue for the performing arts. At the moment, the main experience is based on the open space, the atmosphere, and the events, and less on the number of facilities. For travelers and families looking for a place to walk, a pleasant stop in the evening, or an easy outing in the city center, the Terminal Park is an interesting addition to the Eilat landscape.
