About
All the information about Razer Club Ben Shemen: the Razer Club Ben Shemen club was established by a group of friends who ride together and travel, with the desire to give customers a complete motor experience full of adrenaline—one you don't forget—out of love for the terrain, for nature, and for the connection between them. The club is located on the outskirts of Ben Shemen Forest, in the settlement of Beit Nehemia, at the foot of Tel Hadid, between the Coastal Plain, Samaria, and the green forests of Jerusalem. The club offers several equal routes, in the magnificent landscapes of the Modiin region, for example: the Tel Hadid route / one and a quarter hours. We set out through the fields of the Nehemia settlement toward the Braket Forest. We ascend onto rocky paths, cross Nahal Natuv, enter Ben Shemen Forest, and ride between the natural scrub in varied routes within the natural woodland. We gradually climb to a viewpoint at Tel Hadid overlooking the entire Coastal Plain, located exactly at the point where the Coastal Plain and the Shefela meet—there we make a short break for tea / coffee / cookies and photos. After the break we climb on again toward the east, to the Neta'im Kedumim Park, along a route filled with natural scrub plants. The Braket Forest route / one and a quarter hours: a pleasant and comfortable route. We ascend via a winding path between the trees to the top of Speroulos Hill for a first 360-degree viewpoint over the Coastal Plain, the Shefela, and Samaria. From there we continue north. We pass through ancient structures and a reconstructed historical mosaic site, including a reconstruction of the Madaba map. Alongside it there are many burial caves, a water cistern, a wine press, an olive-press house, and a lime kiln (the site was discovered by chance during the work of a bulldozer for the Beit Nehemia settlement). From there we continue to a magical corner in the forest with a spectacular view along Samaria, for a coffee / herbal tea stop. Khirbat Regev route / two hours: we go out to the area along a comfortable path in order to practice driving a bit with the vehicles. From there we ascend via the Israel Trail to Tel Hadid for a short viewpoint over the Coastal Plain. We cross Ben Shemen Forest on fast trails toward the southeast, and climb on a challenging ascent to Khirbat Regev—a ruin with many agricultural terraces, ancient orchards, and a good viewpoint of the coastal and Shefela area. At the peak, there are remains of large buildings—stones with side hewing—and a seating area with an impressive panoramic view. There we make another indulgent break for a light / warm drink and treats while enjoying the amazing scenery. The Jerusalem Springs route / a full-day Razer trip / must be coordinated in advance / does not run on weekends. Full-day route / renting a Razer for a particularly challenging day trip—after arriving at the complex, we'll treat ourselves with coffee / tea and light snacks, fill out forms, receive a short safety briefing, and then head into the area—Ben Shemen Forest—along fast trails between the orchards and trees. We'll reach the Latrun Monastery, and we'll climb along challenging ascents, stopping near Sha'ar HaGai for a nice view at Givat Chatatol, along with a refreshing break. From there we cross the vineyards and begin climbing Mount Carmelia. Along the breathtaking scenic route through the forests of Jerusalem and the Coastal Plain, we stop at the En Tzayasim (Ein Taysim) spring and Ein Limon spring. At the spring we'll have a midday break that will include a light meal. After rest and refreshing bathing, we go down the challenging Derech Ha'Stef via the descent to Nahal Kisalon, and then continue through the Forest of the Martyrs toward returning to the complex. The route is full of breathtaking scenery, challenging ups and downs, and inspiring historical sites and structures—an experience that brings everyone together for the whole family, for groups of friends, and for couples. Route length is about 120 km of experiences. The trip includes, at all stops, refreshments of pastries, hot and cold drinks, and a light lunch. Suitable ages: driving is permitted from age 3 and up. Children in a safety seat according to law (parents are responsible). Various restrictions: the driver must present a valid driving license.
