About
All the information about the Sculptures Path in Tsor'ea Forest – President's Forest. We began the trip on the Sculptures Path, where beyond the sculptures placed on site you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the entire area. Next we arrived at the Tel Tsor'ea lookout, located in the center of the forest. From the lookout there is a beautiful panoramic view, and the explanatory signs help a lot to understand what we are seeing. In the forest there are many picnic spots, and we were surprised to find that almost all of them are empty of people, which allows for a particularly enjoyable and quiet meal! For lovers of explications—there's plenty! 🎧 There's also a great podcast about Tsor'ea Forest—listen >> One of many gems along the wonderful and beautiful route that runs through Tsor'ea Forest is at this specific point (about 300 meters from the right-hand turnoff from Road 44). What is special about this spot: a basketball/soccer court, suitable for children's games and giving great time for active recreation like at home, but it also includes a forest where you can walk and see wonderful and beautiful vegetation. Here we found young and beautiful daffodils and young scilla. There are many tables in the shade and in the sun, and neatly arranged barbecue corners. And of course don't forget the interesting sculptures along the entire beautiful route. In the parking lot adjacent to the court, around the large complex, there are tables, barbecue corners, and a display of mosaic sculpture replicas from several famous places discovered around the country. Recommended segment for families. Waze : President's Forest – Tsor'ea Forest | Trail length: about two hours. The "Shimon Trail" is a lovely circular path, ideal for families, that begins with a climb to Tel Tsor'ea and ends with a descent back to the parking lot. Along the route, which is also suitable for dogs, you'll find a variety of charming spots along with quotes from the Bible that tell the story of Samson. If you're looking for a particularly photogenic point, don't miss the viewpoint that awaits you at the beginning of the trail—one that looks like a kind of huge treehouse—an ideal spot for photos. Directions: Drive according to the signs for the Sculptures Path (a pleasant and interesting drive). More or less in the middle of the way you'll see a huge sculpture that looks like a cone made of yellow mesh, where there is a large parking area as well as many donor pillars of the KKL-JNF. Who is the hero? Come hear about Samson that you've never met before:
