Ein Ayin Devir
מעיין עין דביר

About
All the information about the Ein Devir spring in the settlement of Giv'at Ze'ev, north of Jerusalem, is found at Ein Devir. Ein Ayin Devir received its name after it was renovated and dedicated in memory of Devir Emanueloff, Z"L, who was killed in Operation Cast Lead in 2009. The spring emerges from the rock, and its waters flow through a channel into a large pool that is about a meter and a half deep. The view from the spring is toward the Ayalot Basin neighborhood in Giv'at Ze'ev, and the area at the foot of the spring is above the beginning of Nahal Ayalon. The spring is exposed to the sun; there are very few shaded areas with viewpoint benches. Note that there is a shallow section at the entrance to the spring.
