In preparation for the holiday, the park holds a guided and experiential tour focused on Shavuot's various and diverse names. During the tour: you get to know the atmosphere of the harvesters' way of life during the harvest holiday and experience a reenactment of all the threshing-floor crafts—grinding wheat kernels into flour on millstones. Mark the first fruits in the Gardens of the Seven Species, write on parchment using ink and a quill—writing implements from the reed plant. And you can't do without food—during the tasty part of the tour, participants will knead dough and bake flatbreads on a taboon, will make cheeses using an ancient method, and will prepare a seasoning in a mortar and pestle to season the light and delicious Shavuot meal. The self-guided tour goes through two routes: one short route, 1.5 km long, also suitable for strollers and wheelchairs; the second route is 3.5 km long and intended for best hikers. Along both routes, there is signage explaining each stop and rest point.
