Hurvat Burgin

All the information about Hurvat Burgin: At Hurvat Burgin, archaeological excavations were carried out, and as a result, the JNF (KKL) turned the site into a convenient place to visit with a short circular route. The hiking route passes through a Second Temple period burial cave, the remains of fortifications, underground chambers that served as hiding complexes, storage chambers, water cisterns, agricultural installations, and remnants of residential structures. One of the major attractions is the Bar Kokhba-era hiding system in a water cistern, for which a flashlight is needed in order to crawl through it (guaranteed fun for both children and adults). Hurvat Burgin itself is located at the top of the hill (at an elevation of 430 meters above sea level), with a breathtaking view of the surrounding area.
