About
All information about the Jaffa Slope. The slope in Jaffa served as a construction-waste site from the 1950s until 1988, and the waste mound reached a height of about 15 meters. As part of the project, the waste hill was lowered in order to create a gentle slope that allows views of the sea. A promenade was built along the coast, including a bike path. A sea beach was prepared for fishing, lookout plazas were prepared, areas for sports and recreation were set aside, and landscaping areas and lawns were developed. Three green axes connect the Ajami neighborhood to the park. Where to eat nearby? At 85 Kedem Street, right next to the slope, is the iconic restaurant "The Old Man and the Sea," a legendary fish restaurant that attracts many diners from around the country. Today the restaurant has an additional branch at Jaffa Port. Have you decided to stay the night in Tel Aviv?
