Which neighborhood should I choose to stay in Tirana?
Bllok is the trendiest area: once a closed quarter reserved for regime officials, it now concentrates bars, restaurants and boutique hotels. The center around Skanderbeg Square keeps the National History Museum, the Et'hem Bey Mosque and the Ottoman Clock Tower within walking distance. Pazari i Ri offers a market atmosphere with strong local food, while Komuna e Parisit feels more residential and quiet. The Artificial Lake and its park provide a popular green option in summer.
